Nature of Service

Switch Hunter is a lead generation and utility comparison platform. We act as a Third-Party Intermediary (TPI) and are not an energy supplier. We provide information to help you compare utility tariffs and introduce you to third-party suppliers or brokers who facilitate the actual switch.

Accuracy of Information & Rates

• Estimates Only: Rates displayed on the Site are for illustrative purposes and are based on regional averages. They do not constitute a binding offer.
• Final Quotes: The final price of any energy tariff depends on your specific location, meter type, credit status, and actual energy usage. Accurate rates can only be confirmed by the supplier during the formal quoting process.
• Broker Model: Clicking "Get Expert Help" or "Compare" constitutes a request for a consultation. Our partners will contact you to compare your selected tariff against our available panel of rates.

Our Panel (Not Whole of Market)

While we display data from various UK energy companies for comparison, we only provide assisted switching services for a limited panel of partners. We do not represent the entire UK energy market.

Commission and Fees (Ofgem Disclosure)

Switch Hunter is free for users. We receive a commission or referral fee from our partners for successful introductions. This fee is paid by the supplier and does not increase the price you pay for your energy.

In accordance with Ofgem standards, we will disclose the specific commission structure related to your lead upon request.

Limitation of Liability

Switch Hunter is not liable for any losses arising from inaccuracies in estimated rates or for the services provided by the third-party partners we introduce you to. Your contract for energy supply is solely between you and the chosen supplier.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
